Mayabeque, Cuba: The ordinary sessions of the Municipal Assemblies of People’s Power will resume this Saturday after six months of inactivity as a result of the pandemic caused by Covid-19.
Municipalities where positive cases of the disease are reported, such as Güines and San José de las Lajas, are excepted from these meetings. The rest will meet on Saturday from nine in the morning with a reduced format, in places with space to guarantee physical distancing and complying with the rest of the prevention measures against Covid-19.
About to start the last quarter of the year, the district delegates in the province will evaluate specific issues such as the epidemiological situation, the confrontation with the pandemic and the situation of the economy, as well as forecasts for the end of 2020.
Other matters to be discussed at the meetings will be associated with the particularities of each territory.
