Mayabeque, Cuba: The Deputy Prime Minister, Roberto Morales Ojeda, announced that the province of Mayabeque is on epidemiological alert, taking into account that it has been with phase 3 indicators for 13 days.
The doctor added that if this situation is not reversed, the territory will go back from the new normality to phase three of the recuperative stage.
In a similar condition is Artemisa, since it has been with phase 3 indicators for 9 days.
The temporary work group for the prevention and control of Covid-19 approved the passage of the province of Pinar de Río to phase one of the recovery stage, due to the fact that in recent weeks the spread of the disease has decreased.
At the meeting headed by President Miguel Díaz-Canel and Vice President Salvador Valdés Mesa, they reported that the municipalities of Pinar del Río and Guane go to phase one, while Consolación del Sur remains in phase three and Sandino in limited autochthonous transmission.
The other municipalities (Mantua, Minas de Matahambre, Viñales, La Palma, Los Palacios, San Luis and San Juan) are moving towards the new normality.
