Mayabeque, Cuba: The Provincial Defense Council in Mayabeque imposes new restrictive measures in the face of the complex epidemiological situation caused by the increase in positive cases for Covid-19.
The opening of a service with the capacity to care for 74 patients affected by the pandemic in the polyclinic with hospital assistance in Santa Cruz del Norte is the most notorious from the point of view of public health.
In this regard, the director of the sector in the territory, Doctor Luis Armando Wong Corrales, said that the service is certified by a ministerial commission.
In the center they will treat positive patients, whether they are asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic. For them, conditions are guaranteed because they have the qualified personnel and resources.
The President of the Provincial Defense Council, Yanina de la Nuez Aclich, stated that in times of Covid-19, medical care for infants, children under 5 years of age, adolescents and vulnerable families is a priority.
