Mayabeque, Cuba: Yesterday, of the samples studied in Mayabeque, five were positive for Covid-19, according to the website of the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
The five cases belong to the municipality of Güines. Of these, three are contacts of confirmed cases, one is imported and one has no specified source of infection.
The health authorities urge the entire population to comply with hygienic-sanitary measures, maintain social distancing and the use of the mask face on a mandatory basis for all activities and scenarios.
Güines is the municipality with the highest demand for care and in particular its urban area, due to the lack of risk perception and the non-compliance with health protocols. It also has the largest number of cases without a defined source of infection.
