Havana: At midnight yesterday, January 14, 7,674 patients were admitted for epidemiological clinical surveillance, 2,776 suspects, 938 under surveillance and 3,960 confirmed, the official website of MINSAP reports.
For COVID-19, 14,550 samples were studied, resulting in 547 positive samples. The country accumulates 1 million 663 thousand 559 samples made and 17 thousand 096 positive.
Of the total cases (547): 469 were contacts of confirmed cases; 32 with a source of infection abroad; on day 46 without a specified source of infection. Of the 547 diagnosed cases, 296 were female and 251 male.
54.1% (296) of the 547 positive cases were asymptomatic, accumulating a total of 10 thousand 787, which represents 63% of those confirmed to date.
Of the total cases of the day, 91 (16.6%) are linked to international travelers, accumulating 6,263, which represents 69% of the total cases since November 15.
The 547 diagnosed cases belong to the age groups: those under 20 years old 73, from 20 to 39 years old 196, from 40 to 59 years old 193, 60 and over 85.
