Mayabeque, Cuba: Mayabeque is among the provinces with the most epidemiological complexity in the country due to the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in February.
The difficult scenery forces us not to lower our guard in the face of the pandemic and to be more consistent with the government’s effort to contain the spread of the virus.
The authorities of the province maintain a constant effort in applying measures to combat the disease and insist on the need for the population to assume a more responsible and disciplined attitude.
That is essential to getting ahead and solving the health problem that Covid 19 has become, allowing us to return to the new normal and continue making dreams come true.
There is a considerable part of our people in the first trench of the fight against the pandemic, our doctors and scientists at the forefront, and behind thousands of Cubans cooperating in hospitals, Isolation Centers, in caring for families in isolation and wherever they go are needed.
So, the effort asked from us, is small, to comply with the guidelines of the Provincial Defense Council, the health authorities and the Ministry of the Interior.
With everyone’s support, Mayabeque is in a position to win this battle for life that puts the will of our people to the test. Do not lower the guard, be alert, willing to face negative behaviors is now the main duty of the people from Mayabeque.
This year, the feat of Cuban science of having four vaccine candidates will allow the entire population to be immunized. While waiting for the momentous event we can only live up to its protagonists. Let’s take care of ourselves to continue building that Cuba of justice and dignity that we want for ourselves and our children, which is an example to the world.
