Damascus, Syria: Syrian anti-aircraft defense on Sunday repelled an Israeli missile attack on the T-4 military airport in the eastern Syrian province of Homs, 210 kilometers north of Damascus, Radio Reloj reports.

Authorities said one soldier was killed and 2 injured, while a munitions depot was hit, and some buildings and equipment were damaged; the attack is the second of Tel Aviv against Syrian sites in less than 24 hours.

On the other hand, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, and the Israeli authorities agreed to a truce for the Gaza Strip, which began after the latest escalation of violence.

Under the mediation of Egypt, the ceasefire between Israel and the Palestinian Islamist organization, Hamas, came into force after three days of violence with a total of 27 dead.
