Mayabeque, Cuba _ The member of the Political Bureau of the Cuban Communist Party and Secretary General of the Cuban Women Federation (FMC), Teresa Amarelle Boué, recognized the active participation of the women of Mayabeque for their support to the process of analysis of the Draft Constitution of the Republic of Cuba.

"Women are always present in any task that is generated in the country, and this is precisely one of the most important actions because it has to do with the future of Cuba. Because of that, and because of our commitment to the Homeland, we contribute”, the leader said.

Amarelle Boué explained that the debates about the new Magna Carta Project take place in the middle of the assembly process X Congress of the women’s organization. The membership is reviewing the work at the base level in the last five years and enriches the proposals of the Constitution.

In centers of production, services, urban and rural communities of the 11 municipalities of Mayabeque, the criterion about females prevails as strength in the continuity of the Cuban social system.
