Mayabeque, Cuba: The constructive movement in the Public Health sector of this province progresses to provide better comfort and new services in medical institutions, informs the director of the branch in the province, Doctor Luis Armando Wong González.

"From a constructive point of view, I believe that there has been a qualitatively superior balance. The advance in the investment of the Piti Fajardo Maternity and Children's Hospital, in Güines, there the intensive therapy, the new central clinical laboratory, the Department of Pathological Anatomy and the area of ​​imaging should be inaugurated next to July 26,  which translates into greater comfort and better service for patients and workers ".

In multiple public health centers in Mayabeque, they boost constructive actions to continue contributing to social progress.

"I believe that the repair of more than the 60 percent of the existing Estomatological clinics was an important decision, today we find in them modern equipment, armchairs of last generation, thanks to the latest investments that have been made "

To celebrate the anniversary of the assault on the Moncada barracks, the remodeling of institutions to serve older adults takes place in this territory.

"The work that has been done in the Grandparents Houses in Batabanó, Santa Cruz del Norte, Jaruco and Nueva Paz, as well as the constructive actions carried out in the same facilities in San José de las Lajas and Melena del Sur", are examples of that.

"Also the Homes for Elderly located in Aguacate and San José de las Lajas are being repaired"

These actions are part of the construction or repair of social works to commemorate the 66th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada Barracks of Santiago de Cuba and the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes de Bayamo, National Rebellion Day.
