Guillermo Elizalde Sotolongo, being only 23 years old, accompanied Fidel to the assault of the second military fortress of Cuba, on July 26, 1953. Despite his historical merits, he is considered the same guajirito from Nueva Paz, who was one day selected to star in that feat.
