Mayabeque, Cuba_ More than five thousand residents of San Nicolas will march this morning of May Day through the wide street of this territory because we are followers of the revolutionary work.

This was stated by Mayte Héctor Rodríguez, general secretary of the Municipal Committee of the Cuban Workers Federation (CTC in Spanish), who confirmed that 80 members of the of Young Communists League (UJC) from the different base committees of the town will open the parade under the motto Unity, Commitment and Victory to greet the 80th anniversary of the CTC in the first month of next year.

Next, the educators will continue the united march to turn the day into a forceful demonstration of the indestructible unity of the people with their party and their Revolution.

This year the working class has strong reasons and arguments to celebrate the International Proletariat Day, because the occasion will be propitious to exalt the value of work and the greatest demonstration of our capacity for struggle and firm conviction of victory.
