Mayabeque, Cuba_ There are many reasons for the people in Batabanó, with so many results in all aspects, to turn the World Proletariat Day into a demonstration of support for the Revolution in a new context.

The Cuban Workers Federation (CTC by its Spanish initials), in the province, summoned all the people to a massive day of national mobilization, presided over by the motto of Unity, Commitment and Victory, on the eve of the 21th Labor Congress.

The motivations for the celebration include a great symbolism, expression of the heroic traditions of struggle that exalt the pride of being Cubans and extol the history of our country as the anniversaries of the birth of José Martí, the 150th of the beginning of the wars for the independence, the 65th anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks and the 60th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.

In this colorful parade, the demand for the cessation of the criminal and genocidal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for 56 years and that is now exacerbated is multiplied on posters and slogans.

We will also denounce the arrogant and interfering aptitude of the current government of the United States and will express their solidarity with the brothers of the southern countries.

Batabanoenses from their neighborhoods go for more in this attempt that gives its first fruits to grow and do it together in the construction of a young but increasingly consolidated province.
