Mayabeque, Cuba: The workers of the health sector opened today the parade for the World Proletariat Day in San Nicolás.
"We have thousands of reasons to participate this day in the proletarian meeting," said the general secretary of the Cuban Workers’ Federation, Maite Hector, who noted that the doctors and health professionals march with their family to show Cuba and the world the results of the sector and the values of medicine in the territory.
Under the slogan of Unity, Commitment and Victory, union leaders and workers ratify the duty to maintain what has been achieved in these 60 years of the Revolution, in terms of health.
Maite emphasized that this May First is a historic day, in which the more than six thousand union members of the territory will ratify their will to continue the construction of the society that Fidel bequeathed to us and defend it at all costs from the aggressions of the empire.
Nothing and nobody will intimidate Cubans, always convinced that patriotic principles are non-negotiable. Today more than ever our doctors express their solidarity with the people of Venezuela and the constant struggle for the return of their two colleagues abducted in Kenya.
