Havana_ Cuba will send a medical field hospital to Mozambique to reinforce health care there with the Island's personnel deployed in that African country, Prensa Latina reports.
As announced today by Deputy Foreign Minister Anayansi RodrÃguez, the aid will be sent in the next few hours and the hospital has the necessary logistics and personnel to support the brother people.
Last week several regions of Mozambique were hit by the cyclone Idai, which with winds of 170 kilometers per hour left to date more than 400 dead, 110 thousand people homeless and significant material damage.
Rodriguez remarked that the field hospital will have the necessary medications for this type of emergency and, at the same time, the Cuban medical brigade that fulfills its mission there will join it.
