Havana_ Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of the Republic of Ghana, will begin an official visit to Cuba starting this Wednesday, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.

The Head of State will hold official talks with his Cuban counterpart Miguel Diaz-Canel and other Cuban authorities and will carry out other activities in the Caribbean nation.

In addition, he will meet with the president of the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo, honor African heroes in a capital city park and offer a keynote address in the main hall of the University of Havana.

It is also expected that the African leader will take a tour of the Historic Center of Havana, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982.

The visit will take place in the year of the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cuba and Ghana.
