Birán, Cuba_ Thousands of young Cubans gathered in Birán, in front of the birthplace of Fidel and Raúl, were witnesses today of the call to the 11th Congress of the Young Communists League, read by its first secretary Sucely Morfa González, Radio Reloj publishes.
The leader called the young workers, students and combatants, militants or not of the organization, to a transforming congress that involves them in the economic battle of the country and needs each and every one of the Cubans.
Morfa González urged the new generation to deal with the challenges of its present in unity and diversity, in every corner of the country's land, its rural communities or large cities, factories and schools.
From the Birán of all Cubans, we are already in Congress, proclaimed the first secretary of the UJC, on the occasion of the birthdays of the youth vanguard and the José Martí Pioneers Organization.
