Havana: Specialists in information technologies from Europe, the United States and Cuba will participate here in a meeting about the management systems of that discipline, from September 24 to 26, Prensa Latina reports.
The II Encounter on Management Systems for Information and Communication Technologies is organized by the Institute of Scientific and Technological Information (IDICT), the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment and the Information Technology Company (ETI) of BioCubaFarma, the largest producer, distributor and marketer of medicines in the country.
In this edition the appointment includes in its academic program an International Seminar on new trends and applications for high performance computing platforms SICAR 2019, to which three international workshops are added: Business Intelligence; Computerization and process automation, as well as the one designed to learn about the current challenges and perspectives of cyber-security.
Several academics, such as the Spanish Alba Santo, from the University of Alicante and Juan Carlos Vergara, from the Center for Surveillance, Standards and Patents, have confirmed their participation in SIGESTIC 2019.
Also the American academic Rafael Mayo, of the University of Harvard, as well as Dieter Roefs, of the University of Ghent, in Belgium.
