Havana: The four Cuban health workers unjustly detained in Bolivia after the coup d'etat, were released and returned to our homeland along with 200 other compatriots, Prensa Latina publishes.

The news was confirmed by the Cuban Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez, with a publication on Twitter along with images of the professionals before leaving for the Caribbean nation.

'Amparo García, Idalberto Delgado, Ramón Álvarez and Alexander Torres, who had been unjustly detained in #Bolivia, fly back to #Cuba. The proud Homeland awaits them. The truth always makes its way”, the chancellor wrote in the aforementioned social network.

The police bodies of the coup government arrested these professionals on November 13 under false accusations of alleged financing of the popular protests in Bolivia against the usurpation of democracy.

In a statement, the Foreign Ministry denounced the fact and demanded the cessation of the instigation of hatred and siege against the Cuban personnel working in the Andean country.
