Dacca_ The leader of Jatiyo Sangshad (Bangladesh Legislative), Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury, received a delegation of Cuban parliamentarians, with whom he addressed the strengthening of relations between the two nations, Prensa Latina reports.

During a meeting in this capital, both sides exchanged experiences on the work of the hemicycles and analyzed various topics of common interest, a Cuban diplomatic source detailed today.

At the meeting Chaudhury highlighted with respect and admiration the work and legacy of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.

The delegation of the Caribbean island is headed by the chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National Assembly, Yolanda Ferrer.

The group arrived here Wednesday from New Delhi to attend the 136th Executive Committee of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) , which began on Saturday and will run until Wednesday.
