Havana, Cuba__ Since very early this Monday morning, the celebrations for the International Worker's Day nationwide will be a massive demonstration of popular support for the Cuban Revolution, Cubadebate publishes.

The parades in squares, streets, towns and bateyes will transmit to the world a message of unity and commitment to the Party and its historical direction, and of permanent homage to Fidel and his ideas.

The opportunity will be taken to demand the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against the Caribbean nation and demand the return of the illegally occupied territory of the Guantanamo naval base.

Likewise, the Cuban workers' movement will express its solidarity with the peoples of the world who fight against discriminatory policies, the support for the peoples of Latin America and especially the Bolivarian Revolution and the Venezuelan people in their struggle for sovereignty and self-determination.

In addition, the parades will back the economic, social and cultural integration mechanisms of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), in order to successfully face the challenge of conquering a better world.

Some 1,200 guests from all continents will celebrate International Workers' Day in Cuba.
