Havana, Cuba__ The process of electing the pre-candidates to the 19th World Festival of Youth and Students, based in the Russian city of Sochi, in October, is taking place in all groups where the new generations are and participate, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

According to Susely Morfa González, the first secretary of the National Committee of the Young Communists League, in this stage they will elect in an open assembly the young people under 35 years old with qualities and merits to be part of the delegation for Sochi.

"The process is taking place at the base, it is not limited only to centers with militants of the UJC and it will guarantee a broad and diverse composition of the delegation of the Greater of the Antilles, reflecting the current society and expression of the main transformations that the country is living ", the youth leader explained.

Along with this process, the direct delegates are selected in those centers that are outstanding in the study, work and defense, which is a high recognition to the collective.

Morfa Gonzalez meant that all territories and all sectors of the economy will have at least one representative chosen this way. Among them, the young self-employed workers will have a delegate chosen in Cienfuegos.
