Havana, Cuba__ Cuban farmers greet the 56th anniversary of the National Association of Small Farmers (ANAP), with a greater projection towards the benefit of the communities, in addition to growing in production lines, Radio Reloj publishes.
ANAP National Bureau member Joel Palmero Meneses reported that as members of the socialist civil society, the more than 370,000 members of the organization contribute to the change of image of centers and institutions located in rural environments.
He noted that since the call to celebrate another year of ANAP to date, over 1500 medical offices were repaired, as well as nearly 200 schools and more than a hundred warehouses.
Palmero Meneses added that statistical data show that more than 90 percent of the pork consumed in Cuba is produced by peasants, as well as grains.
