La Habana_ The First International Workshop of Secondary Basic will be held in Cuba from June 19 to 23, with the purpose of raising the quality of education in the country, Radio Reloj publishes.

With the motto “For an Inclusive School”, the event, organized by the Ministry of Education, will bring together researchers, specialists and teachers at home and abroad, with the premise that respect for cultural diversity is vital for the development of the teaching-learning process.

The participants will discuss on information and communication technologies in the basic secondary education level, the preparation of the cloister, adolescents and their health and knowledge about sustainable development.

During the event they will hold symposiums, forums, lectures, panels and specialized visits to educational centers and scientific institutions in Havana.
