Cuba__ The objective of the International Varadero Gourmet Festival, scheduled for the end of June at the Plaza América Convention Center, of the Matanzas spa, is to raise the quality in the gastronomic services of the tourist sector in the Caribbean island, Radio Reloj reports.

Professionals from the hotel and non-hotel chain will participate in contests about Cuban haute cuisine and cocktails, which advocate gastronomic creativity and contribute to enhance the presence of the gastronomic combination.

During the Varadero Gourmet International Festival, rounds of business and keynote lectures will be organized about trends in cuisine and culinary anthropology, as well as presentations, tastings and workshops.

Presentations of combinations with chocolates and wines and the realization of the cocktail contest and the exhibition of the wineries present in the country are announced to take place.
