Cuba_ Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez met in Havana with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Immigration and Asylum of Luxembourg, Jean Asselborn.

At the meeting, the Cuban chancellor thanked the active role of that country in improving the relations between the Caribbean nation and the European Union.

From the Foreign Ministry's headquarters, Rodriguez also highlighted the support of the European nation in the struggle for the lifting of the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States.

He added that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties and expressed his desire to increase them in cultural, academic, scientific and economic terms.
