Cuba_ Army General Raúl Castro, President of the Council of States and Ministers, arrived here today to participate in the 6th Cuba-Caribbean Community (CARICOM) Summit, to be held on December 8th, Granma newspaper publishes. 

The Cuban President will also make an official visit to that brother country and attend the Third Session of the Assembly of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).

The meeting, which will be held tomorrow in the parish of Saint Mary, will serve to structure a common agenda that advocates a new fair international order, solidarity, integration and trade.

The Cuban delegation is also made up of Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, Manuel Marrero Cruz and Elba Rosa Pérez Montoya, Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Tourism and Science, Technology and the Environment, respectively, as well as Inés María Chapman Waugh, president of the National Institute of Hydraulic Resources; the general of division (r) Ramón Pardo Guerra, chief of the National General Staff of Civil Defense; Rogelio Sierra Díaz, vice-chancellor, and Gustavo Véliz Olivares, ambassador in Antigua and Barbuda.
