Mexico_ A caravan made up of about 1,200 immigrants, mostly from Central America, has begun its way to the United States from the border between Guatemala and Mexico, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
According to information from the Noticias24 portal, after staying two months in the Mexican city of Tapachula, bordering Guatemala, on Saturday the migrants returned to embark on their trek and headed to the US border through Mexico.
Different information indicates that the caravan consists mainly of people from El Salvador, Honduras and Guatemala.
The last time a caravan from Central America tried to reach the United States was at the end of January. The phenomenon of the exodus to the North American country emerged with force in the middle of last October, when thousands of people embarked on a long journey in search of a better life.
