Caracas_ Venezuela will fulfill its commercial commitments despite the increasing sanctions of the Government of the United States, which today affect in particular the oil sector, assured the chancellor of the South American nation, Jorge Arreaza, Prensa Latina publishes.

According to the head of the Venezuelan diplomacy, the country will continue to send hydrocarbons to Cuba despite the latest sanctions announced by Washington against the ships responsible for transportation to the Island.

Caracas will know how to respond by unconventional means and respecting international law to continue the exchange, the Minister of Foreign Affairs said.

"We will enforce Venezuelan commitments and, of course, the commitments with brotherly peoples such as Cuba”, he stressed at a press conference from the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry in this capital.

Arreaza also highlighted the strength of the South American country's relations with the world, by rejecting the isolation actions promoted by the United States Government and its allies.

The chancellor offered a review of his recent tour of several countries in Africa, the Middle East and Europe, and stressed that "the international community is not limited to countries subject to the dictates of imperialism”.

They try to give the impression that Venezuela is isolated, on the contrary, the US blockade has served to consolidate the diversification of our international relations, he assured.

In this regard, he mentioned working meetings held with senior officials from South Africa, Lebanon, Syria, Turkey, among others, aimed at promoting agreements in various areas of mutual interest.

This international journey made it possible to appreciate the support of the peoples and governments of the countries visited, to the legitimate Venezuelan authorities and President Nicolás Maduro, as well as respect for the international law, he added.
