Buenos Aires_ The General Secretary of Camioneros (Truckers), Pablo Moyano, announced that the union called for a general strike on April 30 against the economic policies of the government of Mauricio Macri, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

The measure, decided in the framework of the plenary of the Trade Union Front for the National Model held at the headquarters of the Trade Union of Mechanics and Allied Automotive Transport of the Republic of Argentina (SMTA), will be accompanied by the two Workers' Unions of Argentina (CTA) and will include mobilizations in different cities of the country.

"We have no choice but a general strike," they warned in a clear message to the leadership of the General Confederation of Labor (CGT).

Moyano anticipated the call in the context of a general discontent against the CGT, which postpones the call for a general strike. "Today is going to be a day where a very important sector of the labor movement is going to declare a general strike for April 30, in rejection of the government's economic policy, which is tearing apart Argentine labor," the leader said.
