Caracas: The incessant fabrication of fake news in social networks about the situation in Venezuela has a well-defined political purpose: to increase the file that is handled by the United States with respect to the South American country and then to demand a military intervention, Prensa Latina reports.

As the aggressiveness in the verb on the right increases to demonize the Chavista process, they also do it through media manipulation. One does not exist without the other.

The lie as a resource of informative war on a global level is currently used as a narrative support of Washington to apply measures of force, be they financial or judicial sanctions, or a greater interference in internal affairs.

It is necessary to remember that from the 'fake news' or false news, like the constructions of the “bombings” to the Green Square of Tripoli, in Libya, by the “regime”' of Muhamad el Gaddafi, the “weapons of massive destruction” 'in Iraq or the “chemical attack” by Al-Assad in Syria, the White House justified its entry into these territories as “the owner of the world in defense of peace”.

All those points of break are marked and defined in the Venezuelan scene, where through an unconventional war they try to show the dangerousness of the Bolivarian Executive and the urgency of its dismantling.

Given the harassment against Venezuela through this speech, it is clear that it is not a new practice, but is part of a global media and political resource, with which they seek to impose the matrix of “failed state” and “state terrorism”, on the base of false tortures and persecutions against the opposition.

The high decibels against the nation in the oratory of American presidents - first Barack Obama and Donald Trump afterwards - and other political actors like Senator Marco Rubio, is not a virus that will eventually end up happening, whether or not they achieve their objectives.

These characters set the pattern for the architecture of the US national security system, where they include the internet as a territory of the first order for the objectives of the northern government, whose operations of global influence are not disparate attacks against the enemy of the day.

A research carried out by the web portal Misión Verdad reveals that the Department of Defense of the United States created the program Social Networks in Strategic Communication, with the double premise of 'identifying and countering the disinformation and deception campaigns of the enemy in this platform, reducing the adversary's ability to manipulate the information environment.

The project unveiled in 2011 and supposedly completed in 2015 after a wave of criticism, is currently under analysis by specialists in the field, who say that their structures are as vital and active as they were then.

However, the Pentagon's creations date back years before with the launch of the Strategic Communications Counterterrorism Center (CSCC), which openly uses the Internet as a mechanism to counteract the 'enemy propaganda'.

In the words of its founder, retired ambassador Richard LeBaron, "the CSCC materializes the specialization of public diplomacy in the field of social networks, as SEAL teams specialize in counterterrorist tactical actions."

The Center has three multidisciplinary teams: Intelligence and Analysis, Plans and Operations, and the Digital Outreach Team, responsible for the planning, design and production of the graphic campaigns and their follow-up.

LeBaron has repeatedly reported that the ability of its experts to interact on Twitter is almost in real time and reaches a high level of impact on conversations with 'extremists' from all over the world.

 "The combatants are professional cyber warriors, employees of the United States Government or hired in third countries, as well as experienced amateur guerrillas who pursue defined objectives with military precision and specialized tools," LeBaron characterized his team.

These frameworks operate clearly in Venezuela; they are campaigns often perceived as organic chaos driven by emerging online and amateur actions, when in fact they are aided or abetted systematically by state and institutional entities that go from top to bottom with well-established hierarchical lines.

Before the mechanisms of the technological siege, the Venezuelan movement connects us to a study on how the national reality is viewed from the outside, and the results counted that more than 3,600 false news are generated daily on the South American country.

The social media manager of the group Erick Lozano warned that the strategy implemented from social networks seeks to create a negative opinion matrix of what is being lived in the Bolivarian territory, in order to justify the supposed humanitarian crisis that the right recreates.

In this regard, he highlighted that fake news has become a global phenomenon due to the economic factor that they generate, and explained that the visualizations and users' clip in the digital portals add large monetary figures, reason for the information corporations to publish contents away from reality.

With the campaign of the local right promoted by Trump's cabinet, to eliminate from power the president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, one of the main false positives mounted at the beginning of the year was the burning of two trucks with supposed humanitarian aid that they intended enter through the Colombian-Venezuelan border on February 23.

The action was aimed at blaming the authorities of Caracas and the Bolivarian National Guard for perpetrating the act, and thereby justifying the coup aims of Washington.

The media show designed by the North American situation room for the information war, transferred in full to the territory of Cúcuta, showed how social networks are not forums without moderation.

The United States led the campaign and not only acted outside the traditional regulation of the media, but against the rules of social platforms, and even against a minimum of basic rules that are supposed to contain the performance of politicians and parliamentarians in the world.

The use of fake news against Venezuela, not only has meant a deep corruption of politicians who do not hesitate to use lies and manipulation to achieve their goals, but the previously planned misinformation is used to ignite the wick of the war with stakeholders in producing political reactions and polarizing virtual and physical territories.
