Bolivia: Bolivian leader Evo Morales thanked today for the solidarity in his country and the world after the coup that led him to resign, and accused Carlos Mesa and Luis Fernando Camacho of conspirators and discriminators, Radio Reloj reports.
Very grateful to the solidarity of the people, brothers from Bolivia and the world who communicate with recommendations, suggestions and expressions of recognition that give us encouragement, strength and energy, he wrote on Twitter.
The politician of Aymara origin, who on Sunday resigned from the presidency to avoid a bloodbath in the face of opposition violence, warned that Mesa and Camacho will go down in history as racists and coup plotters.
From Latin America and other parts of the world, presidents, intellectuals, organizations and activists have denounced the coup d'etat and recognized Morales' position to resign to avoid new crimes against authorities and indigenous people.
