Buenos Aires: After long and tiring hours, with aggressions and intimidation upon arrival at the Bolivian airport, the human rights commission of Argentina that traveled to that country managed to enter the town of Santa Cruz, Prensa Latina publishes.

The delegation, made up of human rights defenders, trade unionists, lawyers and social referents, was separated when they arrived at the Viru Viru airport the day before, and 14 of them were subjected to a hostile interrogation, the members themselves denounced, including the referent Juan Grabois.

After several hours withheld, Grabois and other members of the delegation, such as Pablo Pimentel, Marianela Navarro, Pablo Garciarena, Gabi Carpineti, Vicky Freire, Natalia Zaracho, Federico Fagioli and Cristina Vera Livitsanos, were finally able to leave the airport accompanied by the Argentine consul Roberto Dupuy

A video broadcast by media such as Page 12 reflects the moment that some members lived, approached by people, who offended them and shouted at their arrival in Santa Cruz.

The former president Evo Morales also referred to the situation experienced by the human rights collective, as they traveled to the Bolivian capital to know in situ what happens in the sister nation after the coup d'etat, where 34 dead and thousands of injured and detained.

'Fourteen members of the Argentine delegation were held by coup groups in Santa Cruz and subjected to interrogation by the Police. We demand that you let them arrive in La Paz to carry out research work on human rights. Fascist dictatorship evidences their authoritarianism”, the ex-president wrote.

During their stay, the Argentine delegation will meet with institutions, human rights defenders, religious references and victims of the coup d'etat and hope to prepare a report at the end of their visit.
