Caracas_ The Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, supported actions taken by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros to begin the process of withdrawal of this South American nation from the Organization of American States (OAS), Prensa latina reports.

Cabello stressed last night that 'Neither imperialism or OAS, or Argentine or Brazil will come here to act as mother of our homeland, this sovereign homeland is run by the people, none of them', during a broadcast of the program 'con el mazo dando' in Venezolana Television.

'No more interference in Venezuela. It is enough with those countries, most of them in a worse situation than the one we have at this moment because of the right-wing, that they come to give us lessons of democracy, 'emphasized the Bolivarian leader.

The vice president of the PSUV added that the Venezuelans will accompany President Nicolás Maduro in the decision he made, in ordering the withdrawal of Venezuela from that regional body.

The decision was adopted after an extraordinary session of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS), in which the United States imposed its interventionist agenda in order to destabilize the South American nation and provoke the overthrow of constitutional government.

The Venezuelan president called for 'the understanding and solidarity of the peoples of Our America and the world to defeat the interventionist plan against Venezuela.'
