Caracas_  Venezuela starts this Thursday the procedure to withdraw from theOrganization of American States (OAS)(OAS), after a new interventionist maneuver that took place at the permanent headquarters of the institution in Washington, announced the Foreing Minister of the Bolivarian nation's, Delcy Rodríguez, Radio Reloj publishes.

"Our country will proceed to denounce the letter of the OAS and will initiate the definitive retirement of that hemispheric body," Rodríguez said.

The announcement came after the approval of a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the mechanism to discuss the current situation in Venezuela in the extraordinary session of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States.

On the other hand, the head of the Venezuelan diplomacy requested a meeting of the chancellors of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which was set for May 2 in El Salvador, to talk about the context that the Bolivarian nation is living.
