San Salvador__ The governments of Nicaragua, El Salvador, Dominican Republic and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines assured today to accompany the process of conciliatory dialogue in Venezuela, promoted by Pope Francisco and several personalities, Prensa Latina reports.

The decision came out of the ministerial meeting of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), held in this capital, and which the Bolivarian Republic celebrated as a victory of international law and sovereignty over hostage intervention.

Delcy Rodriguez, Venezuelan Foreign Minister, said that Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in particular proposed their territory as a possible scenario for the sought talks between Nicolás Maduro's government and the opposition willing to dialogue.

For the diplomat, the meeting was a success because the Bolivarian nation extended its international support, and because the debate passed with respect in the diversity of opinions, in a constructive spirit and with results.

At the meeting there was consensus regarding the rejection of the violence unleashed in Venezuela, and as planned, no statement was issued due to the absence of member countries that claimed scheduling conflicts.

"It was a historic meeting, and we were pleased that the truth of Venezuela reached the background of Latin America and the Caribbean," Foreign Minister Rodríguez said.
