Caracas__ Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro called a meeting with opposition leaders to show them the process of the National Constituent Assembly that he called to preserve the country's peace, Radio Reloj publishes.

So assured the Minister of Education, Elías Jaua, appointed president of the Presidential Commission to discuss, propose, and listen in each stratum of society the basis of the system of election of constituents.

Defense Minister General Vladimir Padrino assured that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces of Venezuela supports the call of President Nicolás Maduro to initiate a National Constituent Assembly process.

"We want to take this step to support this constitutional and deeply democratic proposal, which opens a national dialogue, which is what we are saving against the lack of tolerance of the right," Padrino said.
