Caracas_ The leader of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Freddy Bernal, affirmed that the events of violence occurred in the country respond to a plan of the Department of State and the Southern Command of the United States, Granma newspaper publishes.

Bernal said that all the incidents correspond to a plan organized by the State Department and the Southern Command of the United States, with the intention of destabilizing and provoking a coup d'etat ».

He also urged the Attorney General of the Republic, Luisa Ortega Díaz, to take legal action to trial those responsible for terrorist acts committed in the country.

In this sense, the official indicated to Ortega Diaz the need to impute those responsible for vandalism and terrorist acts through the Organic Law against Organized Crime and Terrorism.

Currently, Bernal is the national coordinator of the Local Committees of Supply and Production in Venezuela (CLAP) that are in charge of the distribution of regulated products of first necessity in the country.
