Santiago de Chile_ The Venezuelan opposition is responsible for two months of violence in that country, which has so far left 45 people dead and hundreds injured, confirmed Venezuela's ambassador to Chile, Arévalo Menéndez.

The diplomat questioned the supposed peaceful nature of the demonstrations in his country, and showed images of armed people, barricades and vehicles burned by participants in the protests.

He stressed that these protests are not peaceful, neither honest nor have high political purposes; only seek to destabilize the country and the government of President Nicolás Maduro Moros.

The Venezuelan ambassador to Chile stressed that the opposition uses arming and incendiary means, and it is necessary to ask who provides the armament, including rifles, for violent and aggressive marches.
