Barbados_ The Community of the Caribbean (Caricom) ratified its support for Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, given the crisis triggered by the extreme right-wing, Radio Reloj reports.

Caricom assessed the situation in Venezuela in the Meeting of the Council for Foreign and Community Relations (Cofcor) running from today in this capital city, pulishes today the website Caribbean 360.

The president of Cofcor, Louis Straker said that Caricom will not turn its back on the Venezuelan people and Government in times of need and reiterated that Venezuela did more for the Caribbean nations than some of the big powers.

Straker denounced that members of the Organization of American States (OAS) and its secretary general Luis Almagro are boosting the overthrow of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros.
