United Nations __ The United Nations Organization (UNO) expressed its disappointment at the announcement of US President Donald John Trump to withdraw from the Paris Climate Agreement, Radio Reloj publishes.
In a brief statement, Stéphane Dujarric, a spokesman for UN Secretary-General António Guterres, lamented the impact of the measure announced on Thursday in the global efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote international security.
Dujarric recalled that all countries reached that agreement in 2015, after acknowledging the damage already caused by climate change and the need to act against the phenomenon.
Guterres is confident that the other parts of the global instrument will demonstrate vision and leadership, along with many states, cities and businesses in the United States and the rest of the world.
