Brasilia__ Interim President of Brazil, Michel Temer, received in writing the questions from the Federal Police in the framework of the investigation opened against him on suspicion of corruption and which is threatening the continuity of his Government, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

"The defense of Temer was scared to receive 84 questions from the Federal Police about the audio," Globo columnist Gerson Camarotti said.

The questions relate to the audio in which Temer allegedly authorizes the payment of bribes to buy the silence of the former president of the Brazilian Chamber of Deputies, Eduardo Cunha, imprisoned for corruption in the framework of Operation Lava Jato.

According to the Brazilian Constitution, if Temer resigns or is dismissed, Congress must make an indirect election to choose the person to complete the period initiated by Dilma Rousseff in 2015, which ends on January 1, 2019.
