Brasilia_ Thousands of women joined the massive street protests that have taken place recently in Brazil, to demand the resignation of the de facto president, Michel Temer, along with the request for direct elections, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
Most of the participants got a paper hooked with the phrase Women without Temer (Mulheres sem Temer) and shouted slogans and songs against the president not elect.
Under the slogan Women for the directs and for rights, females took to the streets of Sao Paulo, the largest city in Brazil, also to ask for a greater representation of women in Brazilian politics.
Eleonora Menicucci, an ex-minister of politics for women, denounced that the female sector represents 54 percent of the Brazilian population and, even so, they lose their rights.
Several parties, led by the Workers' Party (PT), and entities call for amendments to the Constitution so that the elections will be direct and that the citizens choose the new head of State in new elections.
