Mayabeque, Cuba: The advances in terms of the quality of the technical and professional education in Mayabeque were exhibited at the seventh provincial agricultural- and sugar fair, held at the Amílcar Cabral Polytechnic Institute, corresponding to this course.

The students who are trained as technicians in the different schools of the territory showed their knowledge and skills in commissions where they gave demonstrative classes and practical exercises that were evaluated by a jury.

At the end of the event the most outstanding municipalities were recognized, the first place was for San Nicolás, followed by Nueva Paz and Quivicán.

This fair was dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Agrarian Reform Law and in it the future technicians of the province made a commitment to contribute to the development of the economy in defense of the Revolution.

Young people of the Student Federation of Middle School (FEEM), art lovers and other participants in the meeting held a closing cultural gala, in which popular music, dance and repentismo prevailed.
