Mayabeque, Cuba_ The provincial directorate of Science Technology and Environment (Citma), carries out a varied plan of activities on the occasion of the World Environment Day next June 5th, Mayabeque Newspaper publishes.
One of the fundamental premises of the day is that all people become active agents for the necessary change in their communities.
Activities began on May 17, Peasant's Day, and will run through June 21, Forest Worker's Day.
The agenda includes contests, festivals, exchange with residents in settlements with risks and photographic and visual arts exhibitions on the subject.
The 11 municipalities of the territory will celebrate the Day of the Environment.
