Mayabeque, Cuba_ The House of Culture José Urfé, of Madruga, shows a pleasant and cozy stay, after the final touches of a capital remodeling, for example the theater room, with new stage and furniture.

To the satisfaction of the residents, the institution responsible for the formation of local talent from an early age will be reopened on May 5.

Ada Alejo Valdés, director for 35 years of the center, explained that the institution keeps the condition of national vanguard, because although they continue in repair, the movements of amateur artists and art instructors have not stopped performing activities in the central park, the social circle and in schools.

Today the danzón tradition stands out in that sector, and on the occasion of the traditional Cuban dance, this Thursday a couple from Madruga will participate in representation of the province of Mayabeque, in the fourth International Danzon Festival Miguel Failde in Memoriam, she added.

Also, the town is a land of repentistas where verse, tune and peasant music maintain their roots and charm. The boys and girls of the Rigoberto Rizo Maldonado Workshop defend their roots to the sound of the Punto Cubano.

In their daily tasks, the workers are the bearers of numerous awards in different events.

They are currently preparing for the reopening of the center, where again the local talent will star in the activities of the week of culture, from May 2 to 10.
