Mayabeque, Cuba_ Four artists from Melena del Sur will be representing the territory at the Aristides Fernandez Visual Arts Provincial Exhibition, next January 28, in Guines.

Odalmis Troncoso Perez, director of the Casona Sur Gallery in Melena, explained that this time the representatives will be Osmel Herrera López, Yosvani Enriquez Lazaro Rodriguez, with a video-art and Yasel Borgues Alvarez, with a painting.

The organizers decided to invite the outstanding artist Carlos Llanes, who will received an acknowledgement for his work over the past year, with significant results, such as the participation in the Havana Biennial and other events in Cuba and abroad.

As in every edition Melena del Sur expects to achieve, as usual, different prizes for the movement of the visual arts in the different categories and specialties they participate.

Aristides Fernandez Provincial Hall, is the biggest event of the Visual Arts in Mayabeque.
