Mayabeque, Cuba__ The producer of Radio Mayabeque Andy Duardo MartÃn received the Artist of Merit condition for the uninterrupted work carried out in the sector during 25 years.
The recognition means an impulse to work with higher quality according to the demands of the public, to be a paradigm before the new generations and to leave the imprint on those who dedicate their lives to this profession.
The Cuban Radio awarded this award for the outstanding trajectory in the radio work of Andy Duardo, who holds the status of National Vanguard of the Union of Workers of Culture of the Republic of Cuba, the Raúl Gómez GarcÃa Distinction 2008 and the Work Achievement Medal 2006.
He was also delegate to the Congress of Culture in 2011 and obtained a Special Recognition from the ICRT Delegation in Mayabeque, for the work of November 25 to December 4, 2016, in the posthumous tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, indisputable leader of the Cuban Revolution.
He has received the journalistic awards as a radio program director, in the theme Five Heroes "When justice is called freedom" and in Sports News "At the center of the Diana", both in the International Festival of Radio and Television 2013, among others .
The challenge is to maintain the virtues as a producer and do a laudable artistic work and remain in love with the radio, Andy Duardo said.
