Mayabeque, Cuba__ Four amateur artists will represent the country's youngest province in the National Culture Festival of the Cuban Association of Physical-Motor Limits, which will take place in Santiago de Cuba from June 27 to July 3.

According to Regla Armenteros, vice president of ACLIFIM in the province, lCatalina González Reyes from San Jose de las Lajas will participate in poetry, while Oscar León León, from Quivicán will compete in decima.

Regla added that Alejandro Enrique Tapia Mesa (Santa Cruz del Norte), who will intervene as a craftsman and Marian Garcia Mariño, 13 years old,  in painting, are the other two members of Mayabeque’s delegation to the important cultural event

The Cuban Association of Physical and Motor Limits, ACLIFIM, includes individuals with obvious and permanent disability in one or more limbs, which is not caused by age or associated with mental retardation, and people with amputation of one or more members.

It also has the mission of integrating these men and women into a socially useful life with equal rights and opportunities, full access to work, study, sport, cultural and recreational activities.
