Mayabeque, Cuba__ The province of Mayabeque was the most outstanding of the country in the National Contest of Physical Education Classes, recently held in Matanzas.
Its three representatives, all graduates of the municipality of Güines, won four prizes, a first place, two seconds and a special one.
The most important triumph was won by Ceidel Torres Bacallao, who gave the brightest class at the primary level.
The teacher of the mixed center Manuel Ascunce Domenech also received a special award for using the most innovative teaching method used during the 35 minutes of his dissertation.
Eirel Serrano Herrera, educator of the children's nursery "Sueños de Camilo" in the category of pre-school education and Suset Vargas Oliva, professor of the Polytechnic Institute Antonio Guiteras Holmes, conquered the second positions.
In the first four places by provinces Mayabeque added 26 points, Santiago de Cuba 18, Villa Clara 12 and Matanzas 10.
The trio of aces from the physical education of the demarcation showed once again the high professional quality that in recent years has characterized the work of the territory with learners of the three teachings levels.
Carlos A. GarcÃa Cotilla, a methodologist of the specialty in the Provincial Direction of Education, expressed his satisfaction for the result and added that for the first time the three representatives of this young province to that appointment come from the same municipality and all got to the awards podium.
