Mayabeque, Cuba__ Madruga and Güines cycling teams, both sexes, participated in the Provincial School Sports Competitions.

Alberto Padilla Triana, veteran trainer of the cyclists of the Villa del Mayabeque, reported that the 10-kilometer race alone against the clock was carried out in a section of the National Highway.

Among the six men between 11 and 13 who took the start, the first three to reach the goal were Jose Domínguez Gonzalez, Yoel Cairo Valdés and Jorge Medero Camejo, all from Güines.

From the same municipality, in the distance of 10 kilometers against clock eight participants in the category 14-16 years were triumphant, among them Dariel Torres Sánchez, Reinier Arias Lóriga and Jordanis Padrón Jiménez.

Sheila Quezada Quintero and Blanca Li Bolaños Carabeo reached the first and second place in the women's category 11-13 years and in the immediate of 14 -16 the only competitor was Yarianna Padrón Alburquerque, of Madruga.

A lonely juvenile rider participated in the 10-kilometer against clock, the güinero Darián Rivero Mesa alleged representative of Mayabeque in the national school contest in July.
